Vermont Archives Month occurs every October and promotes the work of archivists and the archives they provide access to and preserve. This year, the Vermont Archives Month blog theme is Catching up with the Interns. Hear from the students and graduates who worked with repositories around Vermont on projects that improved access to their historical records.
The Vermont Historical Records Program (VHRP) internship is geared towards students in high school, college, or graduate school and recent graduates who have an interest in learning archival theory and standards and gaining practical experience in a Vermont historical records repository. The 2026 VHRP internships are funded by the Vermont Secretary of State’s Office and the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC).
